I work downtown and often go to the pita pit for lunch. I do like their food there, however, my last visit during lunch time was one I will never forget. As I was entering their facility, there were no line ups, and asked if the washroom was locked. The lady manager responded that it was locked. I then asked can I please have the key to use the washroom and then I will place my order for food The manager responded with a bad attitude that I had to make a purchase prior to having the key. I reasurred her that I would purchase my food after I used washroom and that I would do so as promised. She responded to me that I could not use the washroom until I make a purchase. I cannot beleive that she would hold me ransome to make a purchase to use the washroom. If you read this review, miss Manager, you should use your common sense to your customers, especially if you can clearly tell that it's not like i am a homeless person without any money. I will never have lunch or purchase any food from this Pita Pit ever again.

I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everybody. Delicious meal in minutes to satisfy your hunger. I can't wait to go back.

I've been frequenting the downtown Pita Pit now for a couple of years. While the food is always good, I find the service occasionally lacking. Oddly enough, it's normally from the management that the surly attitudes emmanate from. Just recently, I was served by (what I'm assuming) were a couple of newer employees who seemed to be doing their very best, while a female manager belittled them and stomped around with a scowl (right in front of customers!). Regardless, the younger staff were all smiles, very polite, and efficient. So, take it easy on those kids... they're just learning.
